GEORGE G. PEFFERMAN RECEIVES SUMMONES
Funeral services for George G. Pefferman, 65, who passed away Monday, August 3, 1964 after a long illness, will be held this (Thursday) morning, August 6, at Union Creek Lutheran church at 10:00 o'clock, with Rev. Wigtil, of Hawarden, officiating. Pall bearers will be Joseph Lambert, Willie Huebner, Eldon Seely, Arlo Rozell, Raymond Ericson and Henry Willms. Burial will be at Swea City, Iowa, under the direction of the Bernard Funeral Home, of Hawarden.
George G. Pefferman was born August 19, 1898, in Livingston County, Illinois. Until the time of his illness he engaged in farming in Union County, South Dakota.
Survivors include the widow, two sons, Joe of Grinnell, Iowa, and Gilbert, of Sioux City; one stepson, Gary of Chanute Air force Base, Ill.; one step-daughter, Mrs. James (Dixie) Madsen, of Remsen; one brother, Orville, of Beatrice, Nebr.; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Miller, of Buffalo Center, Ia., and Mrs. Edna Graham, of Seattle, Wash.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Their many friends in this area extend heartfelt sympathy to the Pefferman family in their bereavement.
