Liebenthal -- Frank J. Herrman, 77, died Monday at Lucas Rest Home, Lucas. Born June 3, 1897 at Liebenthal, he married Florina Sander, Oct. 22, 1918 at Liebenthal.

He was a retired farmer and lifetime resident here. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivros are the widow; three sons, Balser, Sylvan Grove, Lavin, LaCrosse, Walter, Bison; three daughters, Mrs. Ignatious Kreutzer, Boluder, Colo., Mrs. Martin Kreutzer, Great Bend, Mrs. Celestine Jacobs, LaCrosse; three brothres, Fred H., Denver, Colo., Theodore, Highland, Colo., Raymond, Hays; four sisters, Mrs. Peter Hepp, Hays, Mrs. Phillip Dreher, Schoenchen, Mrs. Margaret Gerritzen, McCracken, Mrs. Tom Suppes, LaCrosse; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church; Father W. L. Birzer. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Janousek Funeral Home, LaCrosse. Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
