Hays -- Barbara Hepp, 95, died Jan. 2, 1991, at St. John's of Hays Nursing Home, Hays. She was born Nov. 28, 1895, at Liebenthal, the daughter of Martin and Rosa Weaver Herrman.

A lifetime resident of Ellis County, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.

On Oct. 20, 1914, she married Peter Hepp at Liebenthal. He died Aug. 11, 1984.

Survivors include: two sons, Leonard, La Crosse, and Arthur, Wheat Ridge, Colo.; two daughters, Lydia Werth, Great Bend, and Albina Degenhardt, Hays; a brother, Raymond Herrman, Hays; two sisters, Maragaret Gueritzen, McCracken, and Anna Suppes, Scott City; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Carl Kramer presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Hays Memorial Chapel, Hays. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.

Memorials may be sent to St. John's of Hays Nursing Home, Hays.
