A lifetime resident of Ellis County, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.
On Oct. 20, 1914, she married Peter Hepp at Liebenthal. He died Aug. 11, 1984.
Survivors include: two sons, Leonard, La Crosse, and Arthur, Wheat Ridge, Colo.; two daughters, Lydia Werth, Great Bend, and Albina Degenhardt, Hays; a brother, Raymond Herrman, Hays; two sisters, Maragaret Gueritzen, McCracken, and Anna Suppes, Scott City; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Carl Kramer presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Hays Memorial Chapel, Hays. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.
