LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Iris Moeller Hansen, a former resident of Grand Island, died Nov. 7, 2012, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nev.
Mrs. Hansen was born in Beaver County, Okla., on Aug. 15, 1923, to Ernest and Sylvia Blumer Moeller. Mrs. Hansen was educated in Ashton and attended the St. Paul Business College in St. Paul, and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Mrs. Hansen married Gailord Hansen on Aug. 15, 1952, in Columbus, they made their home in Grand Island. Mrs. Hansen moved to Las Vegas in 1995.
Mrs. Hansen was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Island.
Mrs. Hansen is survived by two daughters and their spouses. Mary and Warren Lehmann of Las Vegas and Kathryn and Steve Young of Edwardsville, Kan.; grandsons, Tom Lehmann of Las Vegas and Greg and wife, Cristin Lehmann, of Half Moon, N.Y.; and a great-grandson, Michael Lehmann of Half Moon.
Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Ivan O. and Keith C. Moeller, and a grandson.
Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island. Services will be private.
