Alma Hofferber Schleiger
Last Rites for Late Mrs. Alma Schleiger
Private prayer services were conducted at the Kibbey Funeral Home Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Alma Mae Schleiger, wife of Conrad Schleiger and daughter of Mr. and Mrs Conrad Hofferber of East Seventh street, followed by funeral services at the Congregational church, which was filled with friends of the deceased and her family. Members of her school classes attended in a body. A profusion of beautiful flowers were sent in her memory.
The rev. E. Gackle officiated, taking his texts from Romans 2:10 and Amos 6:8. The male chorus of the church composed of Dan Hirsch, Jacob Amen, Henry Bauer, Vernon Trupp, Elmer Kauffman and the Rev. Gackle sang "My Sherpherd" and "Friends Farewell". Mrs Gackle was accompanist.
Interment was made in Loveland Burial Park with M?? LeRoy Hofferber, Melvin Hofferber, Donald Hofferber, Robert Lebsack, Clarence Krieger, and Donald Schleiger acting as paulbearers.

HOFFERBER - SCHLEIGER
Miss Alma Hofferber of Loveland and Con Schleiger, Jr. of Berthoud were married Friday, November 20 (1936)
in Greeley, in the Weld county court house, by Justice of the Peace, with Miss Florence Becker of Loveland and John Starck of Berthoud as witnesses.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Con Hofferber, and has been employed several months in the local NRS office. She was graduated from Loveland high school in 1935.
Mr. Schleiger is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Con Schleiger of Berthoud, and attended the Berthoud schools.
Mr. and Mrs. Schleiger will make their home in Berthoud for the present.
