Mrs. HELEN CATHERINE CAREY, 78, of Leesburg, Va., died Monday, March 24, at Loudoun Memorial Hospital in Leesburg, Va. Born May 8, 1907 in Brunswick, Mrs. Carey was a daughter of George W. and Eliza Von Hofe Ambrose. Mrs. Carey was predeceased by her husband, Charles Ross Carey in 1958.
She was a member of the New York Hill Methodist Church and spent her early years in Brunswick.
Surviving are two daughters, Loretta L. Corbell, Leesburg, Va. and Patricia A. Payne, Purcellville; four sisters, Goldie Willard, Berkeley Springs, WV; Hazel Johnston, Brunswick; Marie Garrison, Martinsburg, WV; and Nina White, Frederick; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, Leesburg; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
