Funeral Service Held for Christina Barney
Christina C. Barney, 55 years old, was buried at the Masonic cemetery on Tuesday of last week following her death in Seattle on July 22. Funeral services were held from Macy's chapel with Rev. S.J. Osborne in charge.
Mrs. Barney was born in Nebraska on August 18, 1888. After moving to Oregon, she completed a business course at Linfield College and had lived in Seattle for the last 18 years.
He husband, George Barney, preceded her in death in 1934. The couple had been married for four years.
Mrs. Barney is survived by four brothers, Peter T. and Chris H. Christensen of Marshall, Canada, and Antone W. and Otto Christensen of McMinnville. She is also survived by two sisters, Marie Christensen of Tacoma, and Mrs. Ann Nelson of McMinnville. The Telephone Register, McMinnville, Oregon, Thursday, August 3, 1944
