Born on July 6, 1916, in Switzerland, he was the son of the late Johannes and Lina Beyeler Nydegger.
Hans came to the United States in 1945. He was employed by the Swiss Embassy for four years and then employed by the Kraft Company in New York for 25 years.
Hans and Madeleine moved to Bushkill in 1974. In 1975, Hans became a custodian for the Middle Smithfield Elementary School until his retirement in 1994. Hans was also an employee at the former Sheraton Hotel on West Main Street in Stroudsburg.
He is survived by a nephew, Paul Zeller of Switzerland. He enjoyed a host of friends both young and old, especially his close friends, Richard and Pat Bush of East Stroudsburg and Frank E. Lanterman of East Stroudsburg.
