Mary (Rilko) Broda, of North Street, in the Hudson section of Plains Township, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Helen Perun Rilko.
A lifelong resident of Plains Township, she attended Plains Township schools.
She was a charter member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Olga Dorish; and brother, Paul Rilko.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew S. Broda, Hudson; daughters, Denise Novack, Duryea; Sandra Brennan and Andrea Jagodzinski, both of Plains Township; sister, Dolores Rilko, Hudson; brothers, Michael Rilko, Wapwallopen; Alex Rilko, Hudson; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township, with Requiem service at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church.
Interment will be in Holy Resurrection R.O. Cemetery in Plains Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Parastas services will be held at 7:30 p.m., with the Rev. David Shewczyk officiating.
