Ellen was survived by 1 step-daughter, Mildred Cowgill of Alton; 1 step-son, Paul Montgomery of Alton; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Fred Klopmeier.
In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed away in September of 1971.
Visitation was held at Marks Mortuary on 03 Feb 1974. Funeral services were conducted there at 10:30 a.m. the following morning.
