She was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the widow of Lowery Cutshall, who died in 1969. She was a member of White Rock Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a brother, Chapel Tweed of Marshall Rt. 3; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Bowman-Duckett Funeral Homes.
The Rev. George A. Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Tweed Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles, Earl, Ray and Cauley Tweed, Spurgeon Aldridge, Frank Fillers and Jimmy Blalock.

Her husband Enoch Lowery Cutshaw had changed the spelling of his name from Cutshall to Cutshaw. But Matilda's headstone has her married name spelled Cutshall as you see in the photo to the right.
