Mrs. Dorothea Hinrichsen, 80, of 1201 Virginia avenue, died at her home at 3:15 a.m. Monday after a long illness.
She was born March 13, 1871 in Davenport, but came to Burlington from Lester. 

She was married in 1891 in Davenport to Jens Hinrichsen, who died in 1935.  Mrs. Hinrichsen was a member of Apostolic Christian church.


Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hass, Lester and Mrs. Clara Gibson, Sergeant; 4 grandchildren, Dorothy and Norma Hinrichsen, Burlington and Thurman and Hans Hinrichsen, Eureka, Ill.  One sister and 4 brothers are dead.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bernet-Wallen funeral home.  Then the body will be taken to Lester for additional services and burial Wednesday.
