Rites Monday for Armella Wilberding

Funeral services for Armella Wilberding of Cherokee were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church here. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery under direction of the Fisch Funeral Home.

Miss Wilberding died Friday, June 4 at Sioux Valley hospital in Cherokee after a long illness. She was 53 years old.

She was born January 17, 1918, at Remsen, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Wilberding. She had resided at the Plymouth county home for 14 years and in Cherokee for the last three months.

Survivors are four brothers, Emil, Albany, N.Y., Vincent, Pasco, Wash., Joseph, Ontario, Calif., and Ed, Fremont, Neb.; and five sisters, Mrs. Lester Rupp and Mrs. Norman Broderson, both of Cherokee, Mrs. George Vasser, Waco, Texas, Mrs. Dick Knight, Inglewood, Calif., and Mrs. Jerry Golden, Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Pallbearers were Roger Rupp, Dennis Rupp, Robert Broderson, DuWayne Rupp, William Baack and Ray Wilberding.
