Jakob Isaak
Jakob Isaak died at his home in Pollock, November 17, 1920, aged 61, from cancer of the liver. Services were at the German Lutheran church at Pollock. Reverend Henry Virt and Reverend Manifold officiated. Burial in the local cemetery.
He was born in Russia, Decemeber 10, 1858, and at age 19 came to the United States. In 1881 he married Katherine Almaar at Parkston, South Dakota. They had 14 children, 11 daughters and three sons, of whom seven daughters and three sons survive. There are 15 grandchildren.
