Virginia Marti passed away Tuesday January 8, 2013 at her home. She is survived by her husband Vesper R. Marti who she married on August 4, 1948 in Greenville, IL. two daughters Veanne (Dennis) Ennen of Smithboro, IL and Valerie (Joseph) Leidner of Mulberry Grove, IL. five grandchildren; Angela Jolliff, Michael Ennen, Mark Ennen, Tom Leidner, and Melissa Leidner. She is also survived by five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters Agnes Ronat and Nina Miller.
In 1940 she graduated from the Central Illinois Beauty School in Alton, IL. She owned and operated the Powder Puff Beauty Shop from her home for may years. She was an accomplished gardener and loved flowers. She was member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
