Mrs. Frank Salmen - Pauline, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John Spahn, was born April 15, 1893, near Sutton, Nebr., and departed from this life September 12, 1940, at the age of 47 years, 4 months, 27 days. On February 21, 1912 she became the wife of Frank Salmen and to this union five children were born: four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Rath of Saronville, Mrs. Eileen Ochsner of Stockham, Margie and Wilma at home; one son, Robert, also at home.

In early life she confessed her faith in the Lord and has since been a true and faithful member of her Sunday School and church.

Beside her husband and five children, she leaves one grandson, Ronald Ochsner, four brothers and three sisters and a host of relatives and friends.

She was a devoted wife and mother and will be sadly missed from our midst.

Funeral services were conducted from the home and the Eldorado Union church Sunday by Rev. Ç.P. Turner of Minden. Interment was in the Sutton cemetery.
