Mrs. Christine Reichert, widow of Wm. Reichert, passed away early Friday morning at her home on east 4th street, after a brief illness. The past month she was confined to her bed with ailments subsequent to old age. Her husband preceded her in death in January 1921.
Deceased was born in Germany June 20, 1846. When still in infancy she came to Wisconsin with her parents and made her home with them in Washington county. On Dec. 10, 1867 she was united in marriage in Hartford to Wm. Reichert. In 1879 they came to this section and settled on a farm in the town of Rock several miles west of this city. In 1908, the farm was sold and the family moved to Marshfield where they have since resided. Mrs. Reichert was an ardent member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church and Ladies Aid and was always interested in the welfare of that church and its activities.
She is survived by two sons, John of Wausau and Edwin, and a daughter Mrs. Edw. Radisky of this city, and three other daughters, Mrs. Geo.
