Frank Maass Rites Held Tuesday at Medo Church
Frank Maass, well known Pemberton farmer, did Friday at a Mankato hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Medo Lutheran church with the Rev. Wallace Cole officiating and interment was made in the church cemetery.
A native of Germany, Maass was born Sept. 9, 1884, coming with his parents to the United States when but eight years old. They settled near Minnesota Lake.
He was married in 1912 to Marie Holtz of Alma City, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Mr. Virgil Lust of Pemberton, Mrs. Alvin Hawker of Mankato, Mr. Clayton Hanson of New Richland and Mrs. Ruben Dahlberg of Pemberton; one son, Elmer of Mapleton; two sisters, Mrs. Willard Cook of New Richland and Mr. Paul Kuntz of Minnesota Lake; and one brother Carl Maass of Hector.
