Owen immigrated to the US on 9 Mar 1914 at age 20 through Ellis Island and went to Butte, Montana to join his brother. Sometime around 1918 he moved to California. He was living in Sacramento County, California at the time of his admission to the Weimar Joint Sanatorium on March 20, 1930 where he passed away four months later at age 35.
