Sept 14 2011 Libby Arnold, 73 of Nebo, passed away on Sept. 13, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. Born March 16, 1938 in Floe WV. She was the daughter of the late Orla and Ora Boggs Siers. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Rev. Dairus Arnold. Libby was retired post master of Nebo, a long-time member of the O'Brion Advent Christian Church, and 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star Linden Chapter 152. She is survived by her son, Mike Arnold and wife Abi of Canby, OR., daughter Kathy Murphy of Clay, brother, Oran (Jim) Siers of Cross Lanes; sister, Dorma Conley of Chloe; grandchildren, Crystal Murphy, Russ Murphy, Shawn Murphy, Rachel Arnold Sager, Sarah Ragan, Seth Arnold; great-grandchildren, Logan, Jaycee, Tyler, Rylee, Sadie, Jesse, Mikey, Katie Means and Ava Ragan. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday September 16, 2011 at Wilson- Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Rev. James Bauser. Burial will follow at Coen Cemetery, Chloe. Friend may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Where an Order of Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:00PM.
