Rosemary T. Beckman of Mount Prospect

Rosemary T. Beckman (nee Rafferty), 94, was born Oct. 12, 1918, in Highland Park, to the late Alexander and Minna Rafferty, and passed away peacefully Jan. 28, 2013, in Des Plaines.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Beckman; loving mother of Terry (Linda) Beckman, Margie (Asa) Grennan, the late James (Barbara) Beckman, and the late Donald Beckman; proud grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of 14; and caring sister of Catherine Miller, and sister-in-law of Frances and Eleanor Rafferty.

Rosemary was preceded in death by nine siblings.

She was a member of Saint Emily's Gems.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

Prayers will be said on Saturday at 9:15 a.m., at the funeral home, and proceed to St Emily Church, 1400 E. Central Road, Mount Prospect for funeral Mass 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery.
