Jerome B. "Jerry" Beuning, age 85, of Freeport, died peacefully Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose, Minnesota.

Jerry was born January 25, 1922 in Millwood Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Henry and Elizabeth (VonBonken) Beuning. He married Lillian Fabeck on April 26, 1943 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport. They farmed on the family farm near St. Rosa until retiring in 1988 and moving to the town of Freeport. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he served as an usher, Holy Name Society of St. Rosa and served 26 years on Albany Mutual Fire Insurance Company. Jerry loved to dance and play cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillian Beuning on May 5, 2005; brothers, Ambrose, William, and Lawrence Beuning; and sisters, Martha Timp and Ann Kuffel.
