RAYMOND MICHAEL BRAUN

Raymond (Ray) Braun, 53, of Whitelaw, died Wednesday afternoon, June 1, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. The Rev. Richard H. Heymen will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael Church Cemetery, Whitelaw.

Mr. Braun was born Oct. 12, 1929, in the Town of Franklin, son of Mrs. Anna Heinrichs Braun and the late John W. Braun. He was formerly employed at Schuette Construction and Streu Construction Company and at the present time was employed at Lakeside Packing Company, Manitowoc. He was in military service from 1949 to 1950 with overseas duty in Japan. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 1619.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Anna Braun of Whitelaw, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and LaVerne Braun of Bridgeton, N.J., Paul and Kathryn Braun of Route 1, Whitelaw, and Jiggs and Barbara Braun of Route 2, Reedsville, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores and Tom Reed of Newhall, Calif., and Audrey and Charles Champeau of Route 2, Green Bay, and a very special friend, Mary Jane Swoboda of Reedsville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and other relatives. His father preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until the time of service. A Rosary service will be at 8 p.m. by Father Heymen.
