Jerome "Jiggs" Braun, age 73 of Hilbert, died on Thursday December 10, 2015 at his home.

He was born on July 19, 1942 in Whitelaw, son of the late John and Anna (Heinrich) Braun. He married Barbara A. Danner on January 18, 1976 in Fort Lauderdale FL. Jiggs served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for over 40 years. He was an avid sports fan and loved to golf, bowl and attend milk bottle tournaments. He also loved his animals. He was a member of the Elks Club in Manitowoc.

Survivors include his children, Deborah (Paul) Krepline of Brillion, Jeff Braun of Chicago, Melanie (Tony) Hill of Reedsville, David (Mary) Braun of Chicago, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, a brother Paul Braun of Manitowoc and many other relatives and friends. Jiggs was preceded in death by his wife Barbara on December 23, 2009, a daughter Kimberly Renee, 2 sisters Audrey and Deloris and 2 brothers Donald and Ray.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday December 16 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Whitelaw.
