Norman Stoeffler, 92, died Saturday at Heritage House Nursing Home in Valdosta following a long illness.
A native of Indiana, he lived in Valdosta for 15 years, coming from Palatka where he had lived for 50 years. He operated Family Shoe Repair in Palatka years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Agness Stoeffler of Valdosta; four sons, Carl Stoeffler of St. Mary, Ga., Emory Stoeffler of Palatka, Cleo Stoeffler of Elizabethtown, Pa., and Clyde W. Stoeffler of Valdosta, Ga.; two daughters, Lothia Wright of Branden, Willnell Pierce of Auburndale; two stepsons, Clifton Lashley of Valdosta, Ga., Herman Laskley of Nashville, Ga.; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Masters Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Pipkins officiating. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 19 Jul 1993.)
