MARTIN H. BENNER

Martin H. Benner, 77, 0f 34 Virginia Ave., died shortly after his arrival at Tiffin Mercy Hospital at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 1974.

A lifelong resident of Seneca County, he was born June 1, 1895, to Charles and Susan (Seifert) Benner. He married Corrine Wiechert in Tiffin on May 21, 1955, and she survives, along with a brother Albert Benner of Republic. Four brothers and a sister are deceased.

Mr. Benner was retired from the engineering department of Webster Mfg., where he was a member of the 25-year club. He was a lifetime member of the Elks lodge and St. Joseph Catholic Church and the United Commerical Travelers Club. He was a Vay veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion.

Services at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church wil be followd by burial in the parish cemetery.

The body is in the Hoffmann Memorial, where friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9 o'clock Thursday.

Tiffin Elks Club will hold services at 7 p.m. Thursday.
