Vincent J. Benner, 80, of 114 St. Francis Avenue, died at 5:05 am today, August 31, l966, in Mercy Hospital. He had been in ill health for three years and was seriously ill for the last month. A retired farmer and a cider press operator for 30 years, Mr. Benner was a native of Upper Sandusky. He was born October 22, 1885 to Charles J. and Susan (Seifert) Benner. He married Rosa Smith November 24, l908, in St. Joseph Church here and is survivied by his wife; four sons, Paul, Otto, and Robert, all of Tiffin; Eugene, Eureka, California; four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Loretta) Klopp, Mrs. Ray (Leona) Immele, Mrs. Albert (Luella) Gase, all of Tiffin; Mrs. Don (Lavina) Musser, McLean, Virginia; 23 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; three brothers, George and Martin, Tiffin; Albert, Republic; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Reinhart, Fostoria. Two Brothers are deceased.

Mr. Benner was a member of St. Joseph Church and of the Eagles. The body has been taken to the Pahl-Nemeth Funeral Home where arrangements for services had not yet been made at press time today
