Mrs. Elizabeth Wehrwein, 84, of 1428 Ontario Ave., died early Sunday at Greendale Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for 10 days.
The former Elizabeth Kunstman was born Sept. 29, 1899, in Reinhardt, Russia, daughter of Henry and Margaret Phister Kunstman. She came to Sheboygan as a girl, and attended Trinity Lutheran School.
On April 5, 1919, she married Herman Wehrwein of Sheboygan at Trinity Lutheran Church. He died Feb. 17, 1964.
She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, its Ladies Aid Society, and its Prayer Meeting group.
Survivors include a son, George of Sheboygan; three daughters, Mfrs. Hilton (Lillian) Grams of Sheboygan, Mrs. Ruth Glaeser of Appleton and Mrs. Betty Kratzsch of Warsaw, Ind.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. George Gessl of Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church. The Rev. Hilton Grams, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels from 5 to 8 tonight and at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Wehrwein's name for Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church.
