Clem Wemhoff, a retired Cottonwood farmer, died of causes related to age Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital at Cottonwood. He was 95.

He was born June 3, 1896, at St. Mary's, Neb., to Clemens and Victoria Wemhoff.

He came to Idaho in 1923 and worked as a steam engine operator at the Keuterville sawmill.

He married Agnes Seubert in June 9, 1925, at Cottonwood.

The couple bought the former Schroder farm three miles east of Cottonwood, where they lived and farmed until retiring in 1980.

After retirement, they built a home in Cottonwood, where they had made their home since.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Wemhoff of Cottonwood; three daughters, Mary Ann Ah lers of Cottonwood, Henrietta Griffitts of Martinez, Calif., and Sister Gertrude Wemhoff of the Monastery of St. Gertrude at Cottonwood; two sons, Wilfred Wemhoff of Cottonwood and Richard Wemhoff of Seattle; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Five brothers, seven sisters and an infant daughter, Theresa, died previously.

Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Cottonwood.

The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, also at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Schmidt of Twin Falls, the Rev. Joseph Muha of St. Mary's Church and the Rev. Victor Lustig of St. Mary's Hospital as celebrants.

The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Mary's Hospital or the Monastery of St. Gertrude.

Uhlorn Funeral Home at Cottonwood is in charge of arrangements.
