George was the 4th child of Henry Conrad Green and Christina Yeager. He was the first one in his family to be born in the United States. He grew up and went to school in Denver. He married Clara Bella Waldron (b.Texas) on August 13,1936. They made their home in Denver. After just a few years they divorced. He spent 60 years in the automobile industry as a mechanic and service rider. He worked for Roby Auto Co., Thomas and Hickerson Motor Co., Skyline Dodge and Northglenn Dodge. He passed away April 28 at the age of 84 at St. Joseph Hospital. Services were May 1 at Crown Hill Mortuary Chapel. Burial at Crown Hill.
