Independence -- (Special to The Republican-Herald) -- Michael Stellmacher, 78, retired Independence farmer, died at the Whitehall Community hospital today as the result of injuries received a week ago in a fall down a flight of stairs at his home, when one of his legs was broken.
Funeral services are to be held at the Catholic church in Waumundee Wednesday morning.
