Patricia Ann Knowles Hankins Patricia Ann Knowles Hankins passed away at Presbyterian Hospital on April 15. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, B. B. Hankins, her four children, Christine P. Hawkins of Jacksonville, FL, Susan P. Kennedy of Lake Wylie, SC, Charlotte H. Chambers and Carey R. Hankins of Charlotte, NC, and her three step children, Mark Hankins, Michael Hankins and Karen Stokes, all of Charlotte. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, including Jennifer M. Rhyne who has been another daughter to her, and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances Flewellen Goode Knowles, her father, J.K. Knowles, her beloved grandmother, Nettie Bevel Goode and her son, Paul Richard Perry, Jr. She was born in Charlotte, on March 4, 1931, attended Central High School and lived most of her adult life in Charlotte. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving, generous and loyal person who always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by those who have been a part of her life. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 18 at Hankins & Whittington Chapel, 1111 East Blvd. with burial to follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, the Rev. Gene Lathan officiating. The family will be receiving visitors from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Funeral Home.
