Larry 'Snipe' Dura, age 68 of Marinette, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 19, 2013. He was born January 13, 1945, the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Plosczynski) Dura.

Larry married the former Cheryl Durocher on February 19, 1966 at Holy Family Church in Marinette.
Larry was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, ice races and spending time with his family and friends. He retired from working at Biehl Construction & Excavation.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cheryl;
three sons: Rick "Taco" Dura (special friend Diana Borowski), Paul Dura (special friend Kim Wojciehowski) and Mike "Spike" Dura (wife Michele nee Chmela);
two daughters: Brenda Dura (special friend Travis Emmes) and Kris Plym (special friend Todd Stehle);
14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
six brothers: Jim (Betty); Ray (Rosalie); Len (Laurie); Dan (Kaye); Tom (Theresa) and Bob (Lori);
five sisters: Mag Miller; Julie Weber; Mary Jane Buzek (special friend Tom); Rita (Lloyd) Angwall and Clare (Lou) Miller.

Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law: Marvin Miller, Ken Bohling and Kojak Fritzjunker.

Visitation at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home with services at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo. Burial in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Marinette, Wisconsin.
