Ralph Grieco, 88 of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Ibello) Grieco. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Serafino and Stella (Nocera) Grieco.
Ralph was a salesman for Providence Gas. He was a Volunteer North Providence Firefighter for 32 years and was a member and treasurer of the Knights of Columbus, St. Augustine Council. An Army Veteran of WWII, he was a member of VFW Post 10011 in North Providence.
Besides his wife of 68 years, he leaves a son, Dennis T. Grieco and his wife, Christine M. Grieco; two grandchildren, Dennis T. Grieco II and Andrew P. Grieco and four great grandchildren, Gabriele, Nicholas, Alexander and Isabella. He was the brother of the late George, Louis and Santella Grieco.
His Funeral was be held Monday, April 1, 2013 from the Maceroni Funeral Home, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Augustine Church, Providence. Burial with Military Honors followed in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
