Rachel Orta Lozano, age 56, of Poteet, TX, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012, in San Antonio, TX.
She is survived by her mother: Matiana Orta; husband: Leonard Lozano; daughters: Monica Lozano Chagoya and husband Isaac, Michelle Hernandez and husband Raymond and Melissa Lozano all of Poteet, sons: Paul Lozano and wife Tina of Jourdanton and Ernest James Lozano of Poteet; sisters: Gloria Orta Sanchez and husband Joe of Poteet andTerry Casanova and husband Johnny Ray of Maxwell; brother: John Orta and wife Evangeline of Lockhart as well as eight grandchildren: Brooklyn Lozano, Nadine Lozano, Derek James Lozano, Issac Palderas, Raelyssa Lozano, Layla Lozano, Paul Anthony Lozano Jr. and Aburey Lozano and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lozano is preceded in death by her father: Paul Orta and mother and father-in-law: Jose Antonio and Mary (Olivares) Lozano.
Visitation will be held at St. Philip Catholic Church in Poteet from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM Monday, October 22, 2012. Funeral mass will also be held at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 23, 2012. (We will be set up at the Church at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.) Burial to follow at Lozano Cemetery in Poteet, TX.
