MRS. M. A. MALCOMB DIES IN 81ST YEAR

Mrs. Mary A. Malcomb, 80, pioneer resident of Syracuse, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. Franklin Drumm, 245 Primrose avenue.

Surviving are four sons, Stephen R. of Los Angeles, Calif., and Charles T., William Walter and Frederick B. Malcomb, all of this city; seven daughters, Mrs. George Batzer of Eastwood, Mrs. Ella Bockoven of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. C. M. Kingsley of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. C. D. Cate, Mrs. C. Franklin Drumm, Mrs. Clarence Patchett of Syracuse, and Mrs. H. V. Wells of New York Mills; two sisters, Mrs. George H. Sears and Mrs. Charles L. Gage of Syracuse; one brother, William Weston.

Private funeral services will take place at the home of Mrs. Drumm Friday at 2:30 P. M. The Rev. Dr. H. H. Downey, pastor of the Furman Street Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
