The Post-Standard, (Syracuse, New York), 16 Sep 1950: "Mrs. C. G. Patchett Expires; Interment In Baldwinsville. Mrs. Jessie E. Patchett of 206 Cleveland ave., a life resident of Syracuse, died at her home yesterday following a long illness. She was a member of the Salt City Post Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of Furman Street Methodist Church and a member of its Harmony Circle. Surviving are her husband, Clarence G. Patchett; three sons, Frederick, Clarence Jr. and Sgt. Howard F. of Washington, DC; a daughter, Miss Marion Patchett; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Arnold, Los Angeles, Calif, Mrs. C. V. Drumm and Mrs. D. H. Wells; a brother, Frederick B. Malcolm, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the Schumacher and Mason Memorial home and burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Baldwinsville. Friends may call at 366 W. Onondaga St. today from 7 to 9 PM and tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM."
