William August Rodick has conflicting birth years on census records, marriage documents and WWI/WWII Draft cards. On the 1880 census he's listed as TWO even though he would have been 2 months short of that. But his tomb inscription shows him as 80 when he died. If he was born in August 1878, he would have still been 80 in January., 1959, so I've used that year in this record.

My Dad, Arthur Sigur Jr (William's grandson) says that he always remembered hearing his birth year as 1878, and that my Great Aunt Lil (William's daughter) wasn't sure if his middle name was Adrian or August. Like his birth year, both are used in different documents although he signed "August" on both his WWI & WWII draft cards. I will eventually see if I can get a birth certificate for him and will clarify here and in ancestry.com when I do. --Helen Sigur (great-granddaughter)
