Mr. Fiedler entered Alaska in 1895 and came to the Pioneer's Home on February 17, 1934 from Ketchikan. He was a farmer. He had a patented homestead of 289.13 acres on Gravina Island. Mr. Fiedler sold 2.12 acres to Mrs. Steffason. and approximately 20 acres to C.H. Dudler. Mr. Fiedler had a sister Mrs. Emil Kruger of North Dakota and a brother Mike J. of Dant, Minnesota.
