A funeral will be Tuesday, June 29 at Mount Vernon First Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Coleman officiating, assisted by other ministers. Burial will be in East View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Serchion, Alberto Griffin, John Hudson, Edward Hunter, Dexter Hunter and Ronald Reese.
A sister, Mrs. Rosie Green, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, Victor Hunter; sons, Dowan Horsley and Darrell Turner; step-son, Victor Florence; granddaughter Denajna Horsley; sisters. Ms. Betty Turner and Ms. Gladys Serchion of Newnan, Ms. Tammy Turner of Atlanta; brothers, Azell Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lewis (Linda) Turner, and Jimmy Turner, all of Newnan; mother-in-law and father-in-law; Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Mary Frances) Hunter; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
