She married on May 30, 1847, to Johannes Friedrich Orth, born December 29, 1817, in Welgesheim, Kreis Bingen, Hessen, who had arrived in Texas aboard the Hamilton in 1846. The Orth children numbered ten: Sophie Orth, born July 18, 1848. who married on January 26. 1868 Adolph Weyel, born February 10, 1841; Dorothea Orth, born December 6, 1849; Wilhelm Orth, born December 22, 1850; Augusta Orth, born April 8, 1852. who married Wilhelm Dorow, born March 17, 1848; Emilie Wilhelmine Orth, born in 1856; Bertha Orth, born July 12, 1857. who married Ernst Wofshohl, born March 16,1852; Heinrich "Henry" Orth, born September 29, 1859. who married Emilia Schievelbein, born February 4, 1860; Helena Orth, born November 8, 1861. who married Ferdinand F Wolfshohl, born July 10, 1857; Sabina Orth, born December 23, 1863. who married William Wolfshohl, born October 13, 1861; Johanna Orth, born December 16, 1865, and died July 22, 1867.
