She was born in Northampton, Mass., and raised in Portland and graduated from nursing school there. She was a nurse in doctors’ offices and moved to Albany in the early 1970s.
She was a member of Thursday Study Club and University Club in Portland and enjoyed china and tole painting.
Her husbands, Ed Cosgriff and Julius Bildstein, are deceased, and a son also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her brother, Bob Herbage of Roseburg; sister, Katherine Edick of Albany; and two grandchildren.
Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she was a member. Interment will be at Willamette Memorial Park.
