Donald Fassler and Merylin Rippen, two prominent members of the community's younger set, were united in marriage at Oberlin, Kansas, Wednesday of last week and left immediately on a short honeymoon trip in Colorado, returning home here Saturday.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rippen, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Fassler, who reside east of Culbertson. The newly wedded couple expect to take up housekeeping immediately on a farm belonging to the groom's father, northeast of Culbertson. Their many friends join in extending congratulations.
