Son of the late Vera White Stauder and John E. Stauder, Sr. Brother of Joan Chenevert. Mary Alice Wille and Francis Stauder and the late Robert Stauder. Grandfather of Alan and Paul Stauder. Great Grandfather of Charles Stauder. Grandfather-in-law of Christine Laiche Stauder and Laurie Schott Stauder. Age 83 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie for the past 57 years.

Relatives and friends of the family also members of American Legion Post Number 175, The Norwegian Seamen's Church and employees of I.C. Railroad are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home 3827 Canal St. on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Thursday. Masses preferred.
