Daughter of the late Christopher and Hester Elizabeth Manley Fruth, she was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Kreimer; three brothers, Ralph Fruth, Bob Fruth and Buck Fruth; and special friend, Faye Manley. She was survived by six nieces; two nephews; and an extended family of relatives. Her graveside funeral was held on August 29, 2008, with Robert L. Patterson, II, officiating. She was a registered nurse and a veteran of WWII. She was a member of the Meigs County Genealogical Society.
