Rosary 8 p.m. Thursday at Hodgman-Splain for parish and 8:15 p.m. Thursday for Catholic Workmen Lodge. Burial St. Joseph's Cemetery **. He was a retired farmer and had lived in the Valparaiso area for 46 years. He was a charter member for 60 years of the Catholic Workmen Lodge at Agnew and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors: wife, Emma A., daughters, Mrs. James (Bessie) Janousek, Lincoln, and Mrs. Rudy (Gertrude) Hakel, Seward; sons, Anthony F., Eugene, Ore., Jerome H., Beatrice, and Cyril J. and John C., both of Valparaiso; brother, Frank, Wahoo; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
