Jerome Polak, 86, Humboldt, formerly of Beatrice, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 1984 at the home of a son in Lincoln where he had been making his home. Born Sept. 30, 1898 in Prague, Neb. Was a retired wood finisher at Store Kraft Manufacturing Co., Beatrice.
Survivors: sons, Gordon of Lincoln and Larry of Norfolk; daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Jerry) Hayes, Humboldt; sisters, Bessie Janousek of Lincoln and Gertrude Hakel of Seward; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Anne, in 1967.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Cathedral of the Risen Christ, 3500 Sheridan Blvd., Lincoln. Msgr. C. J. Crowley. Burial Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosary: 7:30 p.m. Monday, Butherus-Maser and Love Mortuary, 4040 A St., Lincoln.
