Rosalinda Christina Latus, 73, Corning, was born March 14, 1922, at Oyens to Barney and Mary Rolfes Peppersack. She died at her home October 9. 1995,
She attended rural schools in Kansas.
She married Joseph Leo Latus in St. Bridget Catholic Church in rural Kansas.
They moved to Prescott and for many years they operated the Adams County Care Facility, now Country Haven. Mrs. Latus had worked as a cook at Mercy Hospital in Coming until retiring in 1987 when she moved to Coming and had cooked at Congregate Meals.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Altar Society in Corning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: brother, Henry Peppersack; daughter Vera Latus; a grandson; great-grandson: and sister, Philamena Fangman.
She is survived by a daughter Patricia (husband Bruce) Mullen, Corning; sons Joe (wife Teresa) Latus, Creston. Bernie (wife Nevada) Latus. Red Oak, Hank (wife Nancy) Latus, Stanton, Bob Latus, Red Oak: 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren: brother, Frank (wife Annette) Peppersack, Le Mars: sisters Frances (husband, Ray) Stallbaumer, Seneca, Kan., and Cecelia (husband Lawrence) Tanking, Wetmore, Kan.
Services were held October 12 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Corning with Rev. Dan Siepker officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Corning.
