After an illness of 9 days Mrs. Christine Wilke, the wife of Mr. Martin Wilke died February 13 of typhus. In addition to the husband she is survived by 2 sons, 3 daughters and 17 grandchildren. The deceased had reached the age of 65 years, 8 months and 10 days. The body was laid to rest February 16 at Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Wolbrecht conducting the service.
