Jacob Fritzler, 83, a Gilcrest resident, died Friday, Sep. 13, 1985, at his home. He was born Oct. 18, 1901 in Grimm, Russia. He married Elizabeth Stroman on Jan. 29, 1922.
He came to the USA in 1912 with his family and settled in the Windsor area. He spent most of his life farming and raising livestock in the Windsor area. He moved to Gilcrest in 1966, where he continued to farm and feed livestock. He retired in 1975.
He was a charter member of the Bethel Lutheran Church.
Besides his wife, survivors include 2 daughters; a son; and two sisters, Mary Fritzler of Fort Collins and Mollie Brunkhardt of Sterling.
